Boys Become a bit Girly and Girls Become a bit Boyish: What Study Says?

Based on the results of one study, it is likely that children display some less gender constant behaviors for a while. In other words, it is possible that boys become a bit girly and girls become a bit boyish for a certain span of life. The behaviors of gender constancy increase with age, but not monotonically. For example, the researchers found that seven-year-olds displayed less gender constancy behaviors than five-year-olds. However, in terms of attitudes, it was found that girls' preference for playing with other girls is very obvious from five years upwards, and even earlier.
